Young Naturalists

Tuesdays, Once per month |  9:00 am to 3:30 pm | Ages 9-13

Fall 2023 Workshops: September 19, October 24, November 21, December 12

Young Naturalists is a program for budding outdoor enthusiasts. This is a series of monthly workshops to fulfill the curiosity of young minds, where youth can shape their interests as they learn and grow in nature.

Children spend their time exploring the landscape and experiencing seasonal changes in nature. Participants will become connected with nature as they learn to identify flora and fauna, ecology, geology, understand weather, and so much more. They will develop independence and confidence as they learn outdoor skills including navigation, fire starting, wildlife tracking, bird watching, and survival skills. The Young Naturalist series will make youth more aware about nature, what is happening around them in terms of climate change and what role they can play as the caretakers of the planet.
